Graham Wines is the director and chief executive officer of Archimedia (Vic) Pty Ltd, known as ARCHImedia.  In 1973 Graham graduated as an Architect from 'The Polytechnic' school of Architecture, London, and gained his post graduate qualifications in Environmental Sciences from York university, England. Graham received high distinctions for his research work his chosen area of specialisation, 'Building Faults & Failures'.

In 1975 he came to Australia and after working with the Victorian Government and winning his first competition, he joined a large design & construction company, Craig Davis Constructions, as the director of design & marketing. He later went on to create ARCHImedia in Australia and its subsidiary, Associated Building Consultants of Australia.

Graham is also a practicing master builder and has been registered with the MBAV since 1979. He is a graduate of Monash University's David Syme business school where he has a post graduate degree in Business Management and received his Masters of Business Administration from Monash University's Mt. Eliza School of Business & Government.

He received design citations for domestic architecture and was the first winner of the prestigious designer of the year award for domestic architecture and kitchen design.

He was invited to represent Australia under the citizen ambassador program to the United States where he was one of the delegation of Australian architects.

He has lectured in construction, building failures and faults and building design at Melbourne University, Rusden College and Footscray Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

In 1990, Graham was commissioned by the State Chamber of Commerce and Industry to write the 'Vision for Melbourne', a broad-brush planning overview, focussing of the opportunities and positives of the central city and its environs.  Many of the planning ideas in that document have either been put into practice or are being implemented.

Graham work continues to explore building faults and failures with a view to finding practical answers to construction problems. Together with his keen sense of design and creativity, he brings these skills together into a leadership style which will ensure that ARCHImedia will continue to meet and exceed the expectations of the company’s clients now and into the future.

Graham is the Author of ‘Buying and Fixing Your Home’ as well as other published books.
